The Employment Council for the Chemicals, Fertilisers, Battery and Plastics Manufacturing Industries is registered under Labour Relations Act (28:01) registration number 20/43/7 and it draws its mandate from section 62.
The Employment Council provide services in terms of its scope of coverage to employers and employees who are operating in the following sectors of the industry;
- Industrial Chemicals manufacturing industry,
- Fertilisers and Agrochemicals manufacturing industry,
- Phosphates and Explosives manufacturing industry,
- Plastics manufacturing Industry,
- Pharmaceuticals and Beauty Care manufacturing industry
- Paints and Printing Inks manufacturing industry &,
- Battery manufacturing industry.
